This type of surgery merges cancer surgery and plastic surgery techniques, helping to address tissue defects and improve the look and feel of the breast.

Some techniques utilised by A/Prof Warrier include perforator flaps (volume replacement/displacement technique), AICAP/LICAP flaps, breast reduction techniques (otherwise known as a “breast lift”), as also done in an aesthetic setting.
